Sewer Repair - Naval Station

Newport, Rhode Island

With a work area of over 10 square miles, this project included simultaneous work in three different towns and all work was performed while the sewer system was still operational. Work included: pulled in place point repairs, manhole abandonment, spray-in manhole lining, manhole re-pointing, manhole and invert installation, replacement and raising of numerous manhole frames and covers, sewer line relining, and sewer bypass pumping.

Maple Street Culvert

East Hartford, Connecticut

Installation of twin 100' x 36" culverts utilizing pilot tube guided auger boring under an existing roadway. Work included new reinforced concrete headwalls, distribution manholes, additional RC storm pipe installation, catch basin installation, new stream lining, boulder revetment, site grading, bypass sewer pumping and site concrete and paving.

Chamberlain Heights

Meriden, Connecticut

Selective demolition of existing portions of foundations and excavation and backfill for numerous additional on 50 multi-unit housing buildings. New storm sewer, domestic and fire services, site grading, landscaping, rain garden installation, site lighting, concrete and paving.

P-848 Torpedo Magazine

New London, Connecticut

Demolition of 90 reinforced concrete keyports, deep soil stabilization, excavation and backfill for a new 5,000 SF torpedo magazine. Construction of two heavily reinforced concrete loading/unloading pads totaling 25,000 SF, installation of new roadways, duct banks, site lighting, storm drainage, site grading and landscaping.

Veterans' Memorial Park

Berlin, Connecticut

Construction of a town park including decorative concrete and stone formal entrance, memorial area with concrete walks, benches, flagpoles, light bollards, granite monuments, installation of wood piles for a wood framed overlook constructed in water, prefabricated wood pedestrian bridge, grading, drainage, site electrical, precast concrete pavers, "Flexi-Pave" walks, bituminous concrete paving, precast curbs and extensive landscaping.

Cedarwoods Supportive Housing

Willimantic, Connecticut

Site work and excavation package for 66,000 SF multi-unit housing project. Work included clearing and grubbing, excavation and backfill for building foundation, grading, underground utility installation, retention pond construction, concrete walks and curbs, bituminous concrete paving, precast concrete pavers, retaining wall construction, fencing and landscaping, including plantings and lawns.
